Bungaree defeat Saints by 16 points

The Demons claimed another 17 points out of 20 in the Champion Club on the weekend however that did not reflect the difficulty and challenge coming from the Carngham-Linton camp throughout the day.

Round 7 Teams

The Seniors head to the break 5-1 after getting home by 16 points on Saturday, with Matt Sheridan again brilliant to be best on ground. Luke Mirtschin booted 6 in a classy small forward performance, whilst Billy Anderson toiled away all day for the red and blue. The boys were far from their best against a determined opponent but somehow seem to keep finding a way to win at the moment.

The Reserves flew out of the blocks and were never really challenged from there as they won by 54 with Matt Shortal putting in another fantastic effort with 4 majors.

The U18’s kicked 7 to 1 in the opening quarter against a team in a similar spot on the ladder to record an emphatic 39 point win with Ryan Klein best for Bungaree.

The U15’s and U12’s both went down by about 5 goals, Lachie Prendergast continuing his brilliant form with another 3 majors.

In the A Grade the girls were too strong recording a 9 goal win, Lauren Quinlan getting the business done in the back half.

The B Grade and C Grade recorded strong wins to cement their spot on top of the table whilst the U17 juggernaut rolls on despite being well challenged by a fierce Saints side.

The U15 and U13 girls were our only casualties, however will look to bounce back against Daylesford after the break.
