Demons aim for a 5-1 start to the season
On Saturday we head out to Linton to take on a much improved Carngham-Linton who are thriving under new coach Jamie Briody. The club appear to have picked up across the board this year so we are certain for a great day of footy and netball.

Round 6 Teams
Saturday was another good day for the club with wins in all grades except the U15 and U12 football, and U15 Netball.
The Seniors put in a very solid first half to all but kill the game by half time, eventually running out 84 point winners. Billy Anderson was a beast in the middle, whilst Macca Sheridan’s stellar form continues with another 5 goal bag.

The Reserves were simply too good winning by 143 points with the goal kicking machine Eamon Stringer booting 8 before being subbed off midway through the third term.
The U18’s had a big win by 25 goals as well against a very undermanned Skipton side. Well done to Connor O’Keefe who’s big pre-season is paying off on the field, booting 5 majors.
The U15’s went down by 9 goals, most of which came in the final term. Liam Hanrahan was a standout for the Demons who will hopefully bounce back next week.
The U12’s were beaten by 6 goals, but tried very hard and look certain to record a few more wins before the year is out

The A Grade were pushed all the way by a determined and greatly improved Skipton whilst the B Grade and C Grade both sit atop the ladder undefeated after another strong showing.
The U17’s again look the team to beat after another commanding win whilst the U15’s went down narrowly for the second week in a row. The very inexperienced U13’s recorded a win and are growing in confidence by the week.
Saturday night we head back to the Bunch of Grapes Hotel on Pleasant St and are urging all supporters, players and family members to get back and make a real night of it. The Bunch has a very family friendly atmosphere and a dedicated Kids area so it would be great to see as many as possible around and have a bit of a ‘bonding’ session before we (hopefully) move into the new rooms in a few weeks.
Good luck to all Bunga teams!
